Jesus feeds five thousand with five loves and two fish. A miracle? Certainly! But more than simply showing His divine power, Jesus reveals to us His great compassion for the sheep without a shepherd, and for us as well.

We welcome The Rev. Dr. Geoffrey Boyle to our pulpit this morning.  Pastor Boyle is Assistant Professor of Pastoral Ministry and Missions at Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  He is here teaching a continuing education course “O Lord, Open My Lips: Praying the Psalms with Christ and His Church”.
