“God has gone up with a shout, the Lord with the sound of a trumpet”! The ascension of our Lord Jesus Christ gives us reason for praise. We have a king who reigns on heaven’s throne—both for the good of His people and over the entire world. He reigns over us with forgiveness and grace through the Church, and we respond by enthroning Him on our praise.
