Jesus tells the crowds the truth about being His disciple: There’s a cost to following Him. The cost includes both the loves that get left behind and the crosses that get picked up and carried. Above all of it, however, is the cost that Jesus Himself paid out of an undivided love for His Father and an unconditional desire to redeem you and make you His: His holy, precious blood and His innocent suffering and death.
