“You are seeking Me,” Jesus said. But why? The five thousand who had been fed came for more bread. What about you? Why do you seek Jesus? Yet God didn’t send His Son to do whatever we want but to provide what we need. So Jesus redirects us from “what” to “who”: “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to Me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in Me shall never thirst.”
