In our sin, we’ve often drifted from God’s Word and embraced or supported what is not good, much like the Pharisees. Jesus points us back to the good of what God made in the beginning. Then He also lives out that good. Instead of sending us away with a certificate of divorce and leaving us to ourselves, He laid down His life for His bride, the Church—even for us! Why? That we might the good life, both now and forever.
