What does Jesus’ baptism have to do with ours? For us, baptism doesn’t mean to be baptized like Jesus as much as it means being baptized into Jesus. As the beloved Son upon whom the Spirit rests, He bears our sins, brings us the Spirit, and grants us the Father’s love. Heaven is open to Jesus and to each of us in Him.
