Jesus is the vine. His Father is the vinedresser. You are the branches. Yes, the Father’s desire is to bear good fruit through you, but our job as branches is simple: to abide in Christ, that is, to remain connected to the true Vine, for we have the promise: “Whoever abides in Me, and I in him, he it is who will bear much fruit” (John 15:5).
