Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Matthew 28:18–20 (ESV)
Our Savior Lutheran Church engages in missions in New England and around the world that have baptism and the faithful teaching of God’s Word as their central purpose. We also support mercy work that provides spiritual care while meeting physical needs. Through prayer, financial support, and, when possible, direct involvement we currently support the following:
- Michael and Nancy Jane Morizio, Associate Regional Business Manager, serving the Lord in the Eurasia Region, based in Italy. The Morizio’s remain members of our congregation while serving as missionaries.
- Rev. Dr. John & Melinda Bombaro, LCMS International missionaries serving the Lord in Latvia.
- Adopt-a-student programs at Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri, and Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, Indiana
- First Concern Pregnancy Resource Center in Clinton and Marlborough, Massachusetts
- Care Net Pregnancy Resource Center of North Central Massachusetts in nearby Fitchburg, Massachusetts
- New LCMS Church Plants in New England
- The Lutheran Heritage Foundation’s Let the Children Come to Me: Sunday School Lessons for Southeast Asia project (through our Sunday School offerings)
