Abraham graciously shows hospitality to his Divine Visitor, but he receives something greater: the promise of a son. That promise is for us, as well, since through Abraham has come Jesus Christ. Now the point of our hospitality is that others may know the graciousness of God to sinners, strangers, exiles.
