Sin is serious! So Jesus teaches us to deal with sin seriously by addressing it with our brother or sister. We do this not to make them feel bad but to gain them back. At the same time, we should take it seriously when a brother or sister addresses our sin. Yet Jesus is also serious about forgiveness—so serious about it that He was willing to come in our flesh, address our sin, and pay the blood that was required for us. Yes, we are the “little ones” whom He refuses to let perish.
